Hi, Amy--pretty fabric, pretty blog. I'm just getting in to sewing (broke my cheap Singer, just inherited my late MIL's Pfaff and cannot WAIT to get started!) I have no earthly idea what I'd make, honestly, but a tote or a placemat sound pretty nice!

Love Frolic!!! My niece is turning 3 very shortly and I'm thinking it'd make a great big girl quilt for her :)
And I'm a follower! :)
I'm not sure what I would make with the frolic fabric. I have a few projects I need to complete before I can allow myself to add another. I'd love to have this waiting in the wings for something special once the others are completed.
Ooh! Pretty! I think I would try making a whirlygig-type quilt top with this layer cake. It would be perfect!

Love the Frolic Layer Cake - I'd use it for a new pattern I just got from Carolina Patchworks that calls for a layer cake!

I would make a simple quilt top by cutting all the squares in half and then sew together in strips narrow edges together. Offset by half a square and join the strips. {erfection with that collection.
Love the layer cake. At the moment I would have to find a book or a pattern to find what to do with the layer cake. The fabric is so bright and fun.

That is one great layer cake! I love those bright and spring-like colours. I have been thinking about covering a round tin stool that has been around this appartment, without me liking it particularly, and I think these fabrics would be a great makeover for it.

what to do with frolic. I love pin wheels and it would make some awesome pinwheel block for a quilt top. it is also in good colors to make a little boys quilt.
