Couch Pillows - a la Amy

Amy Butler that is!  I have had scraps from my roman shade project waiting for pillows, just no pillow forms.  So I waited.  The kids and I ran an errand for Joe first thing this morning and when finished went to Wal-mart since we were already out - I don't go often.

I found 2 nice 18" pillow form on sale - and snatched them up!  After finally getting home, and convincing the boy to at least rest in his bed... I took an hour to whip these up.

Nothing fancy, but functional and cute!  They have an envelope back so I can wash as needed too.

What have you been up to today?

Can we say leftovers for dinner?

Amy

  2. The pillows are great. I have gotten 2 12" blocks done of a sampler and 2 little matching 3" blocks. We are having spagetti, it is very quick!

  3. very cute whipped up pillows! I have been up to a whole lot of nothing, I cut out the pieces for my mini margaret bag last night, and was hoping to go to my LFS to pick up some interfacing, but because its Canada day here they are closed. :( So I folded fabric and put it away and cleaned a bit of the house. I could just cut some white and fuse it with the plastic fusible web i have but I am not to sure, maybe I will give it a try with a tiny piece, I am really excited to get my mini margaret done!
