Hi, Amy--pretty fabric, pretty blog. I'm just getting in to sewing (broke my cheap Singer, just inherited my late MIL's Pfaff and cannot WAIT to get started!) I have no earthly idea what I'd make, honestly, but a tote or a placemat sound pretty nice!
I would make a lap quilt for me! I made 5 for my kids for christmas. It's my turn now LOL.

I would make a simple quilt top by cutting all the squares in half and then sew together in strips narrow edges together. Offset by half a square and join the strips. {erfection with that collection.
Love the layer cake. At the moment I would have to find a book or a pattern to find what to do with the layer cake. The fabric is so bright and fun.

That is one great layer cake! I love those bright and spring-like colours. I have been thinking about covering a round tin stool that has been around this appartment, without me liking it particularly, and I think these fabrics would be a great makeover for it.
