Check, Check!

That's me getting stuff done! I opted to do the sewing and then focus on the nitty gritty :)

For my Ella girl:
Tutorial found here. I'm sure I didn't do it just like the tute, I printed the pdf and went for it - next time I may go have it blown up a bit :)

A Bible cover for my mom : If anyone's interested in a tutorial, I could be persuaded, well maybe next week. . . Funny thing, I purchased this fabric and have had the measurements since Fall! I guess I wanted to be able to give it to her in person :)

= laundry, laundry, laundry
= make Ella a monster
= birthday cake
= birthday treats for school
= make Mom a Bible Cover (shhh!)
= declutter my desk
= plan a menu
= blog about the HMQS - I met people and have a couple of fun purchases
= clean up the house, more and again, really it never ends :)
= finish up another project, and get it in the mail
= get some decent sleep!

The house is almost done, just need to get to the kitchen again, and birthday treats will be in the oven after lunch! I hope you are doing well :)

I'd love the tutorial for the bible cover -- it looks like a gift that anyone would appreciate! Will you be selling the directions or posting them on-line? Your fabric is wonderful, too!

Sewing should always come before the other "jobs", don't you think? Great projects, Amy.

I was hesitating to sew "Amy's kitten" http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/pdfs/cozy_kitten.pdf...
But now that I see your monster, I prefer it to the kitten:D

I love your monster!! It's so cute! Your daughter will love it, as my kids love theirs! You can also get the kids to design one, and then you can sew it up!

Yes, I'm interested in your tutorial--whenever time permits--even though I don't know one thing about quilting (trying to learn--checked some books out recently from the library). I could use a cover for my Bible.

Wow Amy, you are a whiz! I love your stuffed monster but must admit, I thought he was a tooth -- as in tooth fairy pillow. Hey what do I know, my kids are grown! The bible cover is gorgeous and will be well loved I'm sure. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has fabric around for months (and way more!) before it makes its way to the sewing table.

Have a great one!
