Last week the girls and I sat down and made a list for them to do each day before they can play outside. It works! Having them help decide the chores and then able to check them off themselves, makes them want to do it :) And helps me out too!

And Momma, don't forget to play outside a little before you or in between some of the sewing time that bends you over your machine! : > )
ReplyDeletei need to do this, we have tried a few different things and we get out of the habit.
ReplyDeleteI would love to start this. We have our bad and good days here with cleaning.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds great Amy! I love the adorable quilt you sent to Beth too!
ReplyDeleteMy step-sisters and I had a chore chart (weekely and daily) when we were in high school. Cut down on a lot of arguements.

Goodness! I'd never get outside!
ReplyDelete-smile-
another genius idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt helps both them and you out! So many kids don't get chores and don't know how to care for things when they leave home.
ReplyDeleteMy girls always liked checking off their 'list' too. And every litle bit they do-does help Momma : ) I'm glad your girls are helping out too.
ReplyDeletevery cute! I loved filling out chore charts when I was younger...I think I should make them for my house now :)
