Slightly more interesting than yesterday! I have been wanting to make a set of grocery sacs since I made the first one
last year. . . you know those projects that you put off because they just aren't that exciting. Guilty! The pattern is from
SewSimple - May 2008 - it works up easily and is comfortable to carry a load of groceries. Now I have a set of six, made from thrift sheets!
I gotta run again - so excited for
Friday to come!

ReplyDeleteGuess I should jump on the wagon of grocery store bags as well. I do use the plastic ones here at home for other things too.
ReplyDeleteYour bag model is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI think I still have that issue on my shelves. I want to make a set of these too! Thanks for the motivation. (cute model, by the way)
ReplyDeleteEeks! I almost forgot about Friday!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea - and cute too!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the 9th Amy! Bring it on!!!! Bags look great! Much nicer than my canvas green ones from the supermarket.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! Those are so cute. I really love those bags.
ReplyDeleteThey look great Amy -- now you're all set!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to make these but I would probably need about a dozen to work for my groceries. I do recycle the old bags at the store. I love your bags!
ReplyDeleteI have so been meaning to make some of these. Where does the time go?
ReplyDeleteLove that striking pose. So Sweet!! I like your bags. I made a similar bag using a Walmart bag for a pattern. It turned out so cute. There's a tutorial on my blog.
ReplyDeleteNeat bags!!
