Monday Madness!

Hi Friends ~
I don't seem to be able to sit for long enough today (probably not a bad thing!). Monday is early out for the kids' school, thus the day is even MORE choppy than usual. 3 trips to school and back daily. And it has been snowing again - hopefully it will warm up soon (like 50).

Saturday night I went to Girls Night Out at the local quilt shop, and got to meet Natalia. She was sharing her quilts that she tends to make with pre-cuts -- cute stuff! And she has quite a few tutorials on her blog.

I haven't done any sewing in the last few days either - my extra energy has been put into the Blogger's Quilt Festival! The details are coming together and I'm getting super excited.

In other news -- I decided to try Twitter again. I thought we could spread the word there about the festival too! The more the merrier - right? So follow me and I will follow you!

I'll be back tomorrow with something interesting - I hope!

Amy

The last festival was great. I'm looking forward to this one as well, and posting the button on my blog.

Snow? Yikes! Don't send it my way!

My quilt festival quilt was finished today and put into the mail to my grandson. I haven't downloaded the pictures yet, but I hope they turned out well enough to use.'

Thanks for all the time and energy it takes to put this festival together, Amy. It's greatly appreciated!

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

I'm so excited about the Quilt Festival. I'm going to try and figure out how to make it work and have my hubby take pictures of my show and tell quilt. and it will start up my blogging again, which desperately needs a reason.

but now, I'm asking for your help if I can. my beautiful 24 yo daughter just got engaged. and I'd like to make her a quilt. something traditional doesn't sit right... but she likes the double wedding ring? but I'm not sure how to make it "better" ? any hints? ideas? thank you in advance.
