Four Hundred, Four Hundred!!

That's my post tally -- 400! They add up SO fast - let's celebrate with a giveaway! A set of 8 Meadowsweet Fat Quarters has been donated by Quilted Treasures! I love the colors and beautiful prints in this line! You may have the group shown or pick your favorites from what they have in stock. Many, many thanks to Kristina for making this happen!

Thanks to all of YOU - you make me want to blog and share my family and projects here with you! Thank you for spreading the word and making the Blogger's Quilt Festival such an amazing success, and for making this little space in blogland, a fun place to be! There's so much more to come, and I'm excited to see what is in store!

- become a follower or reader subscriber, and leave a comment letting me know.
- tweet me about the giveaway, and leave a comment letting me know.
- and you can post on your blog, for an extra 3 chances - just leave me a comment to let me know :)

Do 1 or all 4! it's up to you, I will select a winner (via RNG) on Monday, December 21.

Many blessings to you~

I finished my shopping early, so I felt very relaxed and unhurried. Then, because I felt no pressure, I kind of forgot to get presents in the mail on time. :-) Now I'm rushing to wrap and mail! Good initial planning...poor follow through.

Congrats on 400 posts!

I started a scarf yesterday for my sister. She will be visiting from out of province. She selected a bright red metallic eyelash yarn. I have one ball knit and three more to go. Fortunately I am using 6mm needles so it goes quickly.

Congrats on your 400 posts. Wow.

Already a follower.

Wow, quilted treasures sure has some CUTE quilt kits. I love their (original pattern) robots kit--what fun!
Today I have graded 20 finals, then made puppy chow and a dessert for our departmental potluck. When I am done procrastinating, I'm going to work on my mom's Christmas quilt!
I'm going, I'm going...
Congrats on 400!
Thanks for the creative inspiration & keep it comin'!

OMG--I'm trying to finish quilting my oldredbarnquiltalong project. I want to surprise my sister but I don't think I'll make it. I'm having surgery on the 21st and I'm trying to finish it by the 20th!!! Yikes--it may have to be a 3 Kings Day gift...LOL

I am in love with the whole Meadowsweet line - so gorgeous! As for wrapping presents - nope not done yet. But I did wrap presents for hubby's work Yankee swap. He thought it would be funny to wrap them in Hannah Montana and HSM wrapping paper and use duck tape. So I did! Funny man...

Congrats on 400!!! I love Meadowsweet! And as far as Christmas...I'm way behind...one box is getting shipped today...but I have lots left to make!

Congratulations Amy. Actually your first quilters festival got me thinking about starting my own blog so I could participate and eventually I did. There are so many great quilty things going on in blogland. Its been a great outlet for me seeing as I can no longer make it to my old quilting group anymore. You write a lovely blog and should be proud of it. I have you in my Google Reader.
I had a look over at the shop and spotted some 'all stars flannel' pack in red and blue. I immediately thought of my son. Its hard to get great boys fabrics. I am spending today getting ready for a two week holiday at my parents house. I really don't like this prepartion part. But it means all shopping done and everything wrapped. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Jonathan said...

Congratulations!!
Meadowsweet actually is my fav:-) I've been dying to get my hands on some since it came out!

I'm a slacker- I haven't wrapped anything yet. I don't even have the wrapping paper!LOL
At least I do have most of the gifts I needed on my list. Just a few more things and I'll prob get to wrapping this weekend:-)

This year my son is not able to come home for the holidays, so we sent him a box of Christmas. It was so much fun to put together. a small tree, tree skirt, ornaments, candy, packages, stocking stuffers, and as is our tradition, beef jerky. We will miss him being here, but it makes me feel better knowing he will have some holiday magic around him.

Jody said...

Congratulations on your 400th post. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite line - I've always been a fan of "Kiwi", but "Meadowsweet" and "Lizzy Dish" are fab, too. I had pizza for lunch, when I should have been making a quick run to pick up some gifts - I'm so behind, it's not even funny! Have a very Merry Christmas, and keep up the great work!

Hi. Congrats on the 400th. Thanks for the great giveaway. I just sent out a quilted wallhanging to my fellow workers for helping me this year while I dealt with cancer surgery and chemotherapy.
My co-workers are attorneys. Most people Hiss when they hear that word. But these folks are wonderful. They cooked for my family, they donated money to help send my 6y/o to Camp Kesem - a camp for kids with parents with cancer. I hope to win.cindy

My exciting news is we are heading to Austin, TX for Christmas. Our eldest has moved there so we'll be on the look out for some used furniture we can give some TLC to. Congrats on 400~ I'll have to dream about which fabrics to choose if I win!

Jenn said...

Congrats! I hope to get that far someday! About 5 minutes ago I just finished my "business" sewing - hopefully for the year!! I sent out 168 quillows into the world this year and many of them will be opened as Christmas presents - wierd to think about that! My husband has been a real doll by picking up a needle and floss and helping me tie over 20 quillows just in the past week and a half! I am truly blessed! Now that I am done with my "have-to" sewing, it would be so nice to have some "fun" sewing to day and those fat quarters would be perfect! Thanks for the opportunity to win! Merry Christmas!!

Congratulations on 400 posts Amy! Love Meadowsweet and would truely love to have those in you pic :o) Today I have cleared the spare room of all the debris that collected through the summer, cleaned and made ready for Christmas guest. Sorted fabrics and relocated, as well as books and 31 quilts. Still have laundry to do. All the wrapping is done, I just have to buy 2 bottles of wine for my neighbours and I'm done!

I've been a follower for some time. Merry Christmas Amy and congrats again!

Sooz said...

I love those fabrics, I don't think I've seen them yet!
My comment is about how challenging it is this year getting up to speed with Xmas. I made a pact with myself to spend little $$ and only make things that already exist in scrap/pattern form in my studio. To date, I have only one of three quilts done, and none of the 5 mini bags done. And to top it all off, today I spend $200 on gifts. Crap! I wanted to create all my own gifts. Oh well... all those projects aren't going anywhere, I'll get to them eventually, right?

Keep up the good work. You are my hero.

Frostedbetty said...

This is Fantastic! I am completely and utterly in love with this fabric! As for how many gifts I have left to wrap.. lets say all of them. I havent wrapped a thing. As of this morning I just realized that there was only 8 days till xmas and I still have a few gifts to make so Im slightly stressed about it. Good thing I'm on here instead of getting my things done hu? hahaha.. :)

And I had to take a break this morning when I ran out of bobbin thread in the middle of stitching some words. Sigh . . . Congratulations on 400 posts! That's alot! I'm working on about 100 things right now, but I'd like to finish a table runner for my m-i-l's birthday first.

All my kids are finally home so we decorated the tree tonight and I wrapped presents. DH and I made applesauce-cinnamon ornaments, which sure make the house smell great! Please enter me in the drawing. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family too!!

I really enjoy reading your blog. I check everyday! Right now, most of my baking is done and in the freezer but not the cranberry nut bread. I was thinking of doing that tomorrow. I have to wrap the kids' gifts too but that is just about it! Oh, I have to get Christmas groceries too.

I'm working on a couple more projects for Christmas, but the secret is that if I don't get them done, I'm just going to give people things I already have finished, even if they weren't made specifically for them. I'm a reader subscriber.

Hi Amy! I have almost all my gifts still to wrap - because of a kitten and a 2 year old, they don't stand much chance of staying wrapped another 5 days! They are patiently hogging up all the space in my coat closet for a few more days.

I'm actually currently working on a project for a friend. She saw a table tent I made and asked if I'd make one custom to her table. I was excited to do it, but it's been a big undertaking! It's about done and I'm going to use the extra fabric to make a little apron for her daughter.
