Fabric Eye Candy

I got a little Hope Valley - I love the color range and the little prints!

Some of the teeny prints are hard to get a feel for online - they are great!

And all of the fabric is soft, and has a good weight to it.

Love the colors!  (I think I already said that)

This is what I'm working on at the moment.  I really should have been done yesterday, but I was painting. . . it's Breath of Avignon due out next month. :)

Check my sponsors out for your own assortment of Hope Valley!
I added a poll to my sidebar - How much fabric have you bought this year? It's just for fun, and anonymous, go cast a vote!

Have a great weekend~

Hope Valley is my favorite fabric to cut. The feel of it is so nice! And it is much better "in person" than it is online!

Happy sewing!

i'm completely embarrassed to say how much fabric i've already bought this year...and it's only jan 8th. oh wait! the one purchase (28 yards in one swift click of my mouse) was technically purchased in 2009, but delivered this week. either way, i've already bought 15+ yards and nearly all of it for QOVs. and i need to go buy other blues today since my mixture is not working together.

I just cut into my Hope Valley two days ago...love it! I started out ordering one FQ bundle..then got another colorway...then finally got the third colorway...the whole set really complements and completes the other pieces!

I have only bought 6 yards. Four of that is for a backing of a project in my mind to do when I get my other quilts 'done'. The other two were half yard cuts for a B-day FQ swap.
So they don't really count towards stash, right? It's Fat Quarter Friday... gotta go see the new fabrics, I'm sure they got some in...

Whoa! Look at all those pins! What a neat photo!

The feel is this fabric is awesome. I only have one colorway, the orange/pink/purple. I love it. Still trying to decide what to do with it, so I'm anxious to see what all those pins of yours are holding together!

I like the HV small prints too, I'm not sure about the range in general, but keep hearing it looks better in person (so to speak).
I just checked out the link to the Breath of Avignon fabric. Wow, I love, love, love the paisley in the range, who'd have thought it? LOL
I can't wait to see what you're working on.

Love the picture with all the pins! Looks so productive. OK, I'm supposed to be working hard on a project and I'm browsing the internet instead. Guilty conscience I guess. :)

Mmmm, fabric eye candy is the best! LOL!

I can't participate in the poll because I haven't purchased an inch of fabric since the beginning of this year and :::whispering::: I'm on a mission to not spend money on fabric this year (except for quilt backing) and instead will use what I have on hand because I have a LOT of fabric on hand as I inherited all my mom's fabric as well. That won't, however, stop me from entering fabric giveaways! I mean, you can never have too much fabric, right? ;-)

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

Well since the charms, jelly rolls and yardage that surrounds me right now was all bought with year end sales I am doing pretty good for 2010! 1.125 yards for the new year. :D

I haven't bought any in the last 8 days. I have a GC for fatquartershop.com but am waiting for Blush to arrive. I don't know if I'm getting any hope valley fabric yet. I do like it... lots of nice purples.

I'm not a big seamstress, but I do love those fabrics you picked out. What are all the pins for? That looks so complicated.

I did buy a sewing machine last year, but so far have only made some (very) basic pillows.

Would like to see the finished project!

Susan - the pins keep the seams matched up as I sew them. I like to pin a bunch at once then go the machine :)

Love the pretty, pretty fabrics and the pile of pieces with pins in them. So exciting seeing a work in progress and well on its way!

i got mine awhile ago. i hate to say...i'm not sure i really like them. i wanted to see them in person...none of my shops carry it. oh well, they all can't be flea market fancy.

wow! pretty fabrics! I've actually been good and haven't bought any fabric all year yet! can't wait to see what you're making! I found that the "this should have been done already" line gives me more stress and I don't enjoy the process as much as I'd like to if I had more time... love your cute yellow pins!
