- Joe called me crazy - I was sketching a new design already! My creative juices are flowing - I can't help it :) Don't tell him about the three more in my head.
- My house needs a deep clean. I like to purge papers and whatnot, every other day or so. The piles are deep - it's time to purge! and the floors are sad. I figure little by little I will make my way through the house this week. After I get my energy levels back up :)
- I have a pile of magazines, and books that I would love to read, and fabric scraps that need to be organized.
- I want to get my blog reader under control again - I love all the inspiration in there!
This seems to be too much for one week, it's probably a two week list. :) I'm going to take it easy!

Congratulations to the winners of the give-away. Won't they be watching for the postman every day? Glad you are feeling a little better. Sounds like a 2 week list to me! Give yourself time.
ReplyDeleteOh no~ an ear infection! I had one once and hope to never have a repeat. :-/ Looks like a 2 week list to me too~ don't want to do too much before you are back to healthy. ;-) And Yippeee!! I am so excited I can hardly sit in my chair! :-))
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling a little better now! I think you deserve a week of relaxing! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's no fun being sick and creative at the same time . . . hope you feel better quickly and wonderful things just pop out of your creative mind.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. I've been so sick too. It is no fun :( Sounds like our houses are in the same shape, no matter how hard I clean it needs to be cleaned again. I am going to try to keep up on my house this week & catch up on a few art projects I need to finish. Have fun with all of your new sketches. I love seeing what you come up with. You are a real inspiration to me. Hugs-Summie
ReplyDeleteI think you should rest and make it "next weeks list" :D
ReplyDeleteRest, rest, rest, the house will wait!
ReplyDeleteRead those books and magazines you've been wanting to get to. Even design in your head and on paper, but don't touch the house!
I AGREE WITH EVERYBODY, REST, LOOK AT YOUR MAGAZINES AND DESIGN BUT DON'T DO HOUSEWORK ,IT WILL WAIT AND IF YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF YOU WON'T GET BETTER. iT HAS TAKEN ME 40 YEARS TO DISCOVER THAT WE NEED TO LOOK AFTER OURSELVES FIRST, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN LOOK AFTER EVERYBODY ELSE.BLESSINGS SANDRA DAVIDSON SASSYQUILTER
ReplyDeleteAmy, this couldn't have happened on a better day! Thank you!!! I've had such a rough couple of days, and now I have something to look forward to! Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you start feeling better! I love that your creative juices are still flowing away!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you have an ear infection and a sinus infection. Just sit on the couch and let the creative juices flow. The house keeping can wait besides it's tiring and no fun.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI did a deep clean two weeks ago and now the home looks just as it did before - put'cha feet up - get well!!!!
I am glad you are getting some medicine to help you feel better! I am working on some basic quilting tips for a quilting class I am doing for my church! And just normal quilts!
ReplyDeleteI am constantly fighting battles with clutter... For fun this week I'm finishing up the back for my watercolor quilt, piecing my quilts for kids quilt, and ... maybe something else.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snuggles on the settee together, make the most of being ill to refresh the creative side. And this week I'm going to work on a friend's birthday pressie a flannel back and cotton top raggy throw. She was "dumping" some of her fabric fabrics because she felt overwhelmed with her stash so I took some from her with the promise of her own throw, idea for Spring California afternoon naps with the baby.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better - sinuse infections (and ear) are no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!!
