AccuQuilt - Go! Cutter Winner & Summer Fun!

Hi there!  I hope you all had a great weekend :)  It was rather rainy here - but we managed!  I've been overwhelmed with the number of entries in this giveaway I mentioned on Facebook the first day that I wished I had 10 to giveaway.  There seems to be so many of you that want/and quite a few that really need a Go! Cutter - keep up with AccuQuilt on Facebook they have lots of contests and regular giveaways there too.

I know you really just want to know if you are "THE ONE" so I'll get on with it!  Random Number Generator selected from 0 - 1320 - #406 which belongs to : :

Susan @ Quixotic Crafter!

Congratulations Susan, can't wait to see how productive you get with your cutter!  You should have gotten an email from me already, but if not please send me a quick note!
-----

Summer fun?  you ask?  During the Festival I had a sweet email from someone wanting to learn to quilt, from the very beginning, and asked if I might be willing to do a quilt-along.  Little did she know, I had already been thinking about one, and her push was just what I needed!

And so, I present the Simple Sampler Quilt Along!
Last week I received EQ7 and I've had so much fun putting tons of ideas to my screen instead of my sketch pad.  I went through the libraries and selected blocks perfect for introducing a new quilter to simple techniques that have big impact, and will allow you to piece your little heart out!

I'll share a few more details tomorrow, but I'm hoping to start next week.  I will introduce 2 blocks each week for 8 weeks then we can finish them up together!

What do you think?  Are you going to quilt with me?

I hope so :)  I think it will be a ton of fun!
Happy Monday~
Amy

Thank you so much, Amy. I'm super excited to be the winner. (I don't think I'll be able to get any work done today :) ). I love your quilt along idea, I'm looking for table quilt ideas and your blocks look perfect for this (and a lot of fun). Count me in! And thanks again. I love Mondays!!!!!

Congratulations Susan...I hope you have tons of fun with your new tool/toy. I say tool because it is oh so useful and toy because it really is fun to be able to create using such an easy tool.

Amy, thank you once again for the chance on the giveaway. I'm so happy that reading about it brought me to your blog because you're wonderful! I love the sampler you've created and am going to try to join in as you go through the quilt along.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

I think I'm going to try to follow along and make the sampler. I think it would be a good way to use up some of those leftover fabrics and make it scrappy!

Thanks!

Congrats to the lucky winner!

Love the quilt along, but I have too many WIPs now to add another to it. Now, if I could just win the lottery so I didn't have to work.... ;)

Can't wait to see your version of the quilt along!

Congratulations to Susan! This sampler looks so cute! I might actually try it. I am hesitant only because I have so many projects yet to be finished but having someone to do it with might be a great way for me to be motivated to finish something. I'll keep coming back!

I'm SO in for the simple sampler quiltalong! I've been working on awesome Disappearing 9 patches, which I love because they are so simple to make and yet look complicated. I like having my upcoming projects to look forward to. Yay!
