That is such a lovely creation! I would be sure never to have snotty tissues in it ... like I always do in my own bags right now!

What a great bag! I'm going to check out the Wonderland line. The grossest thing I keep in my purse is usually baby wipes. Not used but I have to have one always! Thanks for the giveaway chance!

I love this bag - it is so pretty! You are very talented!

The grossest thing I have found in a purse is a squashed banana - it ruined the lining of my favorite purse :(
I now have a banana guard, it's the greatest invention! http://www.bananaguard.com/

gorgeous!! the grossest thing I found in my purse was a half eaten sandwich thta my hubby had and wanted to save and bring home. I found it about a week later.....ewwww

Michele said...

Hard to beat a 3-day old diaper as gross, so I'm going with random-- I always carry one of the socks I'm working on in case I have some down time. This weekend I was getting envious (and curious ) looks from other women as I knitted away in Home Depot while my spouse drooled over some tools.

Kelly@CharmingChatter said...

Oh - My - Gosh! I can't believe you're giving away this bag! I fell in love with it when you first posted about it! Love the design - love the fabric! Hang on--I have to look in my purse -- used gum wrapped in paper - yuck! But, I would NEVER put something like that in this B-E-A-utiful bag! Thanks for the FUN giveaway Amy!

Jennadesigns said...

I really love this bag - beautiful fabrics!

Right now, the weirdest thing in my bag is a summary of my life insurance... as I was buying new insurance and needed to list other policy numbers on the application at the insurance office. Strange, but I realized today I'm worth WAY more dead than alive right now (gonna cancel the other policy when this one is issued... but right now, I have both).

What a great bag! My Yorkie puppy, Ruthie Jo, would probably the best thing in my purse. :-) Thanks for the giveaway!

The other day I found an earring with its post stuck in a piece of unchewed gum that had come out of it's wrapper. Yuck! Time to clean out the purse!

I love that bag! I always have random items in by purse, usually crayons or toys the kids tucked there.

Kimara said...

Very cute! Also, love your music. Thanks for the chance to win.

angela said...

Great bag. And I love the Wonderland fabric!
At any given time you can find, snot rags, soggy sucker sticks and used spongebob bandaids in the bottom of my purse ;)

Mindy said...

I love the fabric choices, and the number of pockets! I guess the oddest thing in my bag would be a stackable crayon pen from the Dollar Tree. It keeps children occupied at those odd times when they need something to settle them.

hana.k said...

I always hate it when chocolate gets away from me and forgotten in my bag. Or lotion explodes.

hanna said...

GORGEOUS bag!
the grossest thing found in my bag would be bits of food spat out by a small child when we're in a store and there is no rubbish bin around!

Tina said...

I would love to win your pretty bag. I guess the grossest item would be a dead lizard. Someone thought it would be funny for one to jump out at me, but the little lizard died before I opened the purse.

Jennifer Ladd said...

This bag is SUPER cute! I would love to tote it around town!

Most random thing in my purse right now? A Super Why action figure hanging out right next to my lipstick. Ah ... the joys of being a mommy!

This bag is so pretty, I really like it. Being a mom (and one who cloth diapers) I've found lots of nasty in my purse, from dirty diapers (always in a bag of some kind thankfully) to squished foods and of course there's the dreaded leaky sippy cup!

peony paperie said...

Right now I have a unopened snack size bag of m&m's in my purse, but the outer design has worn off (it's been in there so long)! I guess I'm waiting for my son to take potty training seriously, and I'll be ready with potty treats when he does!

Heather said...

Oh, this bag is to die for! Grossest thing in my purse....hm...old food I guess. Nothing too bad! LOL

I once discovered a $50 note!! I'd obviously forgotten about it and then it just slipped out of one the pockets in my purse - it couldn't have come at a better time too as I was flat broke too.

Jemma. said...

Ummmm, a packet of gum. That then got wet, melted and stuck to everything in my bag. EW!

Christina Lowry said...

I too have left a diaper in my bag. But probably even grosser was when we were out shopping and I had been walking around holding the baby, blissfully unaware that he had thrown up on my shoulder and into my bag. Not until I went to pay did I realise I was getting funny looks, and when I put my hand in my bag for my purse, I encounted baby vomit. Niiice. :)

Holly said...

I love Wonderland too! I find many rocks, half eaten snacks and used tissues in my purse every day.

Jody said...

I love the uniqueness of this bag. So pretty. My five year old found a piece of unwrapped, melted gum, stuck to a penny and a tic tac. He asked me what kind of special money it was since it had all that stuff attached to it.

I don't know, perhaps melted chocolate... that was like washed into the bag, it didn't wash out very well cause it was in an enclosed area. it's fixed now though!

Terri Y said...

thanks for all you do! This bag is TOO COOL!

My purse: guess the weirdest part would be measuring tape, don't go anywhere without it... never know when you might find something cool and need to measure!

Kerry said...

I would love to win this purse! :)

There's always something gross in my bag with 2 kids. Last week it was a banana that I had left in an obscure pocket from a trip tp the playground a week before. Yum.

Jaime said...

oh there are so many comments for this so I know my chances are slim, but everything that can cross is crossed to win this amazing bag!! I am blown away by your talent.
P.S. Maxi pad, stuck to my sunglasses is the weirdest thing I have pulled out of my purse and almost put on my face! AAAhhh! hehe

This bag is beautiful, I would love to win it. A girl can never have enough bags right?

The worst thing I found in my purse was a mouse. I was at work in Pleasant Grove, Ut. at a photo lab and reached in to get my chapstick and a mouse jumped out.

Thanks for the great giveaway, if I am the lucky winner, you can contact me through my website www.radseams.com.

Beautiful! And yes, who can resist a bag? The grossest thing I found in my bag recently was a bag of mouldy grapes my kids had left in there from a recent trip out. Yuck!

Wow that is beautiful - so well made.

Strange things found in my purse are usually my son's little socks, old breadsticks and once a can opener (?!?!) all courtesy off my little dude's sneaky purse-filling...

Artfulife said...

Grossest thing I ever found in my bag was probably crusty used kleenex. So scratchy and awful! Absolutely love your bag. I hope I'm the winner. Hugs to you my friend, Summer

I really really really think this bag is awesome.

As to the most gross thing ever was i use to have a cat when i was younger and she actually hid a dead rat inside one of my bags in the storeroom. I didnt notice until i started tracing the horrible smell. I had to throw that bag away. It was simply too gross!

Naomi said...

The grossest thing I've found in my bag is a bunch of eucalyptus drops that had fallen out of a pack and melted all over the lining. I miss that bag :(

Love the Bag, 1 in 263 bloggers, what are my chances? The oddest thing I carried in my tote was my Grandsons sports cup ( for his private parts protection playing baseball) He had gone to the bathroom during the game and he removed it from its holder as it was bothering him-- Guess who he asked to hold it for him?????

A mom of many said...

Cute Bag! Please enter me in your drawing.

Well, the best thing I find in my bag is a timely piece of gum or a mint burried in the depths just when I need it. That makes me smile.

Thanks!

I really love your bag and would love to carry it filled with all my stuff...My worst thing in my bag is gum that I already chewed and rolled up bag in the wrapper to throw away later and always forget.....usually when I change my purse is when I remember. Thanks for the chance.

Zarah said...

That's so sweet and happy! It makes me smile! :D

The grossest thing... Well - not me - but a friend of mine had this cat. Outdoors cat. And they live on a farm with lots of mice. One day, her cat left her a little "gift" in her purse... Luckily, she SAW it and the "gift" was still alive and pretty unharmed (except the fact that it was SCARED!) so she just took the purse and carried it outside (with the cat indoors, obviously) and let it out again at a safe distance.

It is really more of a sunshine story, but just the thought of what WOULD have happened if she didn't see the cat leaving it there... YUCK!

Unknown said...

I just posted about this last month! I found a petrified pancake in my purse! I guess my kids didn't know where else to put it. Nice of them huh?

Love that bag! Can't have enough!

julia said...

Gorgeous bag! Random thing in my bag? Not the purse I use everyday, but a bag I occasionally use as a diaper bag had a clarinet reed in it. In my 'former life' I was a professional musician and the reed must have been in there for over 3 years now!

Bonnie said...

I love that bag! Only thing I can think of is finding a fork in my purse. Fell off the table at a restaurant. I found it a couple days later and couldn't figure out where it came from and why I had it in my purse. Took a while then I remembered!

This is beautiful!
Oh my the grossest thing - When I was a little girl I spent weeks upon weeks at my Grandparents house in the summer (It was more fun than I could ever describe). Well my Grammy & Pa took us out to dinner one night and my grandma wrapped the leftover chicken fingers up in a napkin & put them in her purse. The next time I was over - weeks later (I of course was a purse digger) I found the chicken! Yuck-o-rama!

Michele said...

Once I found my daughter's retainer in my purse. Ewww.

That purse is great; can't have enough pockets!!

audreypawdrey said...

The bag is beautiful! The worst thing I have found is melted chocolate, but I think that is going to change soon. I carry a very small purse right now, so there isn't much room for things to hide!

Anonymous said...

Love those fabrics! I haven't had much nasty in my purse, but my sons diaper bag is another story. That's why I try to clean it out every night or else you'll never know what you'll find.

Cheryl said...

What a wonderful bag! Can't wait to get my hands on it! Funniest things found in my bag.....My mothers teeth she forgot.........her teeth were like stars, they come out at night!

Becky said...

Wonderful, Wonderland bag :) I haven't had enough coffee to remember what has lived in my purse. You don't want to live there. It will totally shorten your life. I never know what the "boys" in my life will put in there for me to carry :)

JD said...

My purses always have random lactiad pills floating around because I'm lactose intolerant, but oh so in love with cheese!

MoniCue said...

This is the opposite of gross: I always carry some beach glass in my purse...reminders of my happiest place.

The bag is great. I think the most random thing I carried around in my pocket was a Micro-machine VW Bus when I was in high school. I drove a vintage VW bus, so the little toy bus was kind of my icon. :)

Jingle said...

Hmmm...The most random thing I found in my purse would have to be my Mother's slip. Yes...there is a story there. We were at a wedding and her slip just wasn't working...so, we went to the ladies room where I told her to just lose it since it wasn't going to cooperate so she did, but her handbag that day was small and mine was larger (which is odd because usually it's the other way around) so she thrust it at me and said, "HERE! Put this in your purse!" LOL! I did. but then I totally space it and found it in there two days later! LOL! It was a bit of a surprise! HA!

Deranged Squirrel said...

Love the bag. I have some little old lady tendencies (putting restaurant candies and wet wipes in my purse for later use) which has resulted in a couple of sticky incidents. I think the worst is likely a wrapped chocolate that melted in my pocket. Ha.

That Crazy Ajumma said...

Hmmm, most random funny or gross item in my purse?
I'd have to go with random, I have a package of needles for my sewing machine in the bottom of my purse at the moment. I keep forgetting to put them in my craft room.

Super cute purse. One time (while living in Idaho, eastern people won't even know what this is or why it is yucky) I put my hand in my coat (which was white) and it came out covered in fry sauce. Gross!!

well, there have been diapers (used) in my bag before...but I think the grossest was my son's umbilical cord stump (it fell off and I didn't have anyplace to put it!).

Mindy said...

Right before we left for our trip I cleaned out my bag and oh it was gross...the bottom was full of crumbs from crackers, muffins and cookies that I've saved from my Mom's Group snack to share with Myles. Please don't judge me! :)

Totally cute! And, lately the funniest thing in my purse is a whole lot of straight pins my girls gathered up off the floor and shelves of a local craft store. How, and why, they ended up in my purse, I will never know.

oh WOW, what a lovely purse. I'd be PROUD owner if I win!

I always have something strange in my purse. atm, I can find a bag of low-fat microwave popcorn (not popped, of course), another purse, deoderant. Once, when we went bowling and bought a pitcher of beer, the guys were astonished when they turned around and I had stickers labled with each of our names on all our cups! LOL

I love wonderland... and so how could I not love this bag!!!

I haven't really found anything gross in a bag... I don't carry gross stuff in my bags and I don't usually check what others carry in theirs. But I can tell you the grossest thing I've ever found in a book. I work in a library, and I do collect stuff I find in books (bookmarks, tickets, handwritten notes), but I did not keep the CIGARETTE BUTT I found in a novel once... Eugh...

Lisa said...

I love the bag! As for random things in my current bag, I guess I would have to say it's the fact that I have an umbrella in there which wouldn't be random but for the fact that I live in Tucson where it hardly ever rains LOL!

Me and this purse are BFFS!!! I adore this bag...Momo is a GORGEOUS line!! This came out SOOO nice! The grossest thing in my purse? Probably gum (in a wrapper, but chewed) that one of my kids handed me...usually I try to keep it clean but I recently cleaned out the 2 purses I've been using and found 3 toy airplanes, some mints from a restaurant, a small Disney princess, lots of pens, chapstick galore (yay!), and a tangerine.

First of all I LOVE wonderland!
Random gross thing in my purse? Okay Tampons that have been in the bottom of my purse so long that they are half open and the cotton part is "dusting" the lining of my bag!!! It is super embarrassing when my 18 month old is digging through my bag at the checkout lane and pulls one of those out and hands them to me. I think I really should clean it out and toss them! LOL

Last night as I was rifling through my purse looking for the camera and cell phone, I did come across no less than 5 hot wheel cars, three different sized diapers, container of wipes and two jars of baby food.

Lovely bag.. The most gross thing in a purse was not in my purse but I was gorssed out. I had gone shopping with a Aunt. She went to pay and pulled out of her purse her false teeth, layed them on the counter and kept digging for her wallet. Yep she kept them in her purse. I was 17 and it was gross.
I really don't find gross stuff in my bag. I clean mine out after each big shopping trip.

Grossest thing ever found in my purse ? Wasn't my purse but my bookbag when I was in elementry School. I forgot a banana that I had put in the front pocket along w/ some slime...the slime melted and the banana got old.... you get the drift right ? It was GROSS !!!

Unfortunately my grossest thing in my purse is my cigarettes. I hate to admit I'm a smoker, but I am...but not for long! Next Tuesday at 10am EST I will be smoke-free. Hooray for me! Wish me luck! p.s. I'm an avid follower...love your blog.

That is so pretty, I love it!

The grossest thing I had in my purse was a wet diaper... I had to change baby's diaper on a hike but couldn't find a garbage can so I had to carry it in my purse until I found one. At least it was only wet :) lol

I eyed this bag when you made it... I love it. I just love it. Oh I know we would love each other if I won!!!!

Well here is my story... as a mom with a child who still needs a diaper bag I have just given up on having a separate purse instead I just use the diaper bag. Well my daughter loves to go through EVERYTHING in the bathroom when I am trying to get ready. Well she LOVES playing with tampons - yea I find them everywhere - especially the diaper bag (purse). Some still in the wrappers and some well in just pieces. yea so not cool when you don't know they are in there!

Oh and wouldn't this bag so be a great purse/diaper bag. I think so.

What a beautiful bag!!! Love it. I always seem to have cheerio crumbs at the bottom of my bag along with random toys - mostly cars.

This is a gross one: I remembered that we picked up some fresh pears at the market to take as a snack to a playgroup. Another mom had a different snack that the girls wanted to eat instead so I forgot to take the pears out of our bag. We meet once a month, so at the next meeting we found them in our bag. SO DISGUSTING! Liquefied and rotted!

Random items. my purse is a rat's nest. I have hair sticks, 4 keys, a package of crackers, and ninety million receipts. Ticket stubs, altoids, my resume on a disk. Nothing terribly interesting but quite a few random things.

Darling bag. I want to win it.

Love the bag! Grossest thing in the bottom of one of my purses? I have ointment to put on my arthritic wrists...didn't put the top on tight one time...YUK! Now I keep it in a plastic bag just in case it comes open!

The bag is wonderful and I'd love to carry it.

I think the worst thing I've ever found in my purse was a melted lipstick. Not so terribly gross but boy, what a mess!

MamaG said...

Absolutely LOVE this bag! So having little boys, they are always playing, right? Well my oldest was eating some sort of chocolate and gave it to me to hold while he went back to play...needless to say, I completely forgot about it and stuck my hand in my pocket later on only to have my hand come out COVERED in melted chocolate...yeesh! That never came out...

Very nice bag! we have minties at work (they are like a hard, but chewy mint candy type thing, if you don't have those in the U.S) on the counter, and I am always putting some in my bag to take home, and I always find them all soft at the bottom of my bag, all old and very gross! I guess I should stop taking them home!

The bag is so darling! Today I found a Milky Way from Halloween (hopefully the most recent one) in my pocket, Teaberry gum from years ago in my purse along with an empty pillbox that has the Wicked Witch on top saying "All in time my pretty-all in good time." That's just today.
The gross thing was in my bathroom drawer- the toothpaste from my husband's uncovered tube that had dribbled onto my brush and I didn't see till I had already brushed my bangs. Yuck.

I love the wonderland material, the bag is lovely. Gross things in bag would have to be sultanas that have fallen out of the packet and covered in all type of fluff

This is a super purse -- it looks perfect for my knitting or small on-the-go quilting projects!

I find random things in my purse all the time -- toy vehicles, 'guys', rocks, leaves, fasteners of all sorts, odd supplies -- my seven year old son is forever sticking some "necessary" item in my purse to take with us!

I mean, seriously, I'd have to show you a photo.....Go to my blog and scroll right through to Dec last year, there's a photo there....ok, you won't believe this, but the most random funny thing that gets into my pocket/bag, is my pet BLUETONGUE LIZARD!!! No joke!! lol, she loves going shopping, and Julie from the pet blog even sent me a bag just for Buffy (my Bluetongue Lizard) to go shopping in! lol Cool huh? You'd love her though, everybody does!

Love, Love Love the bag! Hope it is mine! :)
The grossest thing I ever found in my purse was from one of my cats. We had "borrower" cats. They would take something of yours and leave something of theirs. One of them took my house keys, and left me a chewed up fuzzy cat ball toy. When I reached into my purse, eewww!
Then I had to figure out what was missing :)

Love that bag! The grossest thing I've ever found in my pocket ... probably old moldy conkers. I keep picking them up and saying that I'll plant them ... and then I forget them in my pockets :(

The grossest thing I ever found was one of those candies that is filled with liquor that's shaped like a wine bottle. I found it in May and I must have gotten it at new years! It has smashed open, leaked liquor, and gotten so sticky. Nasty stuff!

Great bag! I go to the movies a lot and tend to find old popcorn in the bottom of mine! Hey-it's hard to eat neatly in the dark!

What a great bag. Please enter me in your drawing.

Growing up on a ranch with lots of animals has always been an adventure. The grossest was a present from my little hunter kitty - a gopher head. She always like to present us with trophies and even better if she could stash them somewhere. Needless to say, I started hanging up my bag instead of leaving it on the floor by my chair.

Thank you!

Before I was a mom of 7 homeschooled kids and a wife to a carpenter, I had snakes...most people are so scared of snakes - I found that to be true, and didn't usually allow them in public places...when I would go to visit my teenage brother (who had a spinal injury and was paralyzed) in various rehab hospitals, I had to have a way to get Fudge, my Burmese Python, in with me to visit. Fudge, even at 5 feet, would fit just fine in her knotted pillowcase in my bag. That's definitely the most random thing/creature I've ever had in a bag. She was never discovered by the nurses. Can you imagine the devilish little grin I had on my face as I walked in knowing that in their wildest dreams, they'd never guess that big ol' fat snake was coiled in my bag. Good thing I carry big bags!!
Love your blog and your music. I play it at night when hubby and I are relaxing quietly and lately been cutting out to it in my studio.

Yes yes yes! I love wonderland! Thank you for the chance to win this bag. Great stuff! Just last week i had a few M & Ms melt in my pocket, which isnt all that unusual, but my cell phone was in the same pocket and I lot the charger cover thingy, so that night I was gently coersing chocolate out of the hole so I could charge my phone....and avoid telling my husband that I ruined my phone. All is well. Thanks

What a fabulous bag!
One time in church, while looking for a tissue to wipe my 2 year old's nose, I found one half of a licked Oreo cookie in my purse. It had obviously been put in my purse still wet from the licking because you could see the icing smeared on the cookie and little bits of tissue stuck to it. Of course no one owned up to sticking the licked cookie in my purse and I know it wasn't me!

Hello Amy...love the new haircut btw!

Let's see.. the most gross thing I ever found in my purse??? Ewwww...I know a good one.

When I was 21 years old I was pregnant w/ twin girls. I had to go in to the hosp. every week (and later twice a week) for checkups...you all know the drill. I had to take urine samples that I would 'capture' first thing in the morning..so the container went in my purse to carry.

Guess what??? The container leaked. So 'nuff said, right? LOL

Plz. enter me in your giveaway. I adore that bag! You're very talented Amy.

Blessings,
Penny

I've found what I believe may at one time have been chocolate... However it collected all the dirt and lint from the bottom of my purse it was really gross!

I can always use another great bag! I promise not to put anything gross in it!

Wow, your bag is REALLY nice!

I won't tell you what the grossest thing I ever found in my purse was...but...

Even though my kids are grown, at a bridal shower last year I won the purse game by carrying the most items named on the master list. I had an umbrella, an address book, granola bars, sunglasses, medication for allergies, blah blah blah. I mean, I even had SALT in my purse. And you know what happens when those salt packets get a little worn...they spill salt and get really messy! (I don't do that anymore, but it sure comes in handy sometimes!)

Wow! That is a great bag...and a perfect place to transfer all of the "garbage" in my current bag. Does everyone else do this? It seems like I just move a pile of crap I don't really need from one purse to another. Probably the grossest thing(s) in my bag right now include, week old cheese cubes still in the snack container, used baby wipes containing unwanted snacks and one melted lipstick that gets on everything.

Hmm...maybe I don't deserve such a pretty bag.

Random, gross AND funny. Standing in church with my purse over my shoulder and could feel the kid behind me digging in it. Now, you don't want to think the worst at church...but...I checked for my wallet and found...ready for this? A wad of about 8 gumballs, all chewed and slobbered...in the palm of my hand. TRY to keep a straight face after finding that treasure. Yikes!

LOVE the fabrics in this bag - you are so talented! Thanks for the opp!

What a cute bag! The most random thing in my purse right now is probably small squares of moleskin that I cut and took to Quilt Market for when my shoes began to hurt spots of my feet. Just seems easier to keep it in there for later, too!
