Four Hundred, Four Hundred!!

That's my post tally -- 400! They add up SO fast - let's celebrate with a giveaway! A set of 8 Meadowsweet Fat Quarters has been donated by Quilted Treasures! I love the colors and beautiful prints in this line! You may have the group shown or pick your favorites from what they have in stock. Many, many thanks to Kristina for making this happen!

Thanks to all of YOU - you make me want to blog and share my family and projects here with you! Thank you for spreading the word and making the Blogger's Quilt Festival such an amazing success, and for making this little space in blogland, a fun place to be! There's so much more to come, and I'm excited to see what is in store!

Enough mushy stuff, to win:
- leave me a comment! Something interesting - like your favorite fabric line in Quilted Treasures Shop, your lunch plans, how many more presents you have to wrap, or whatever you are working on, I won't tell your secrets.
- become a follower or reader subscriber, and leave a comment letting me know.
- tweet me about the giveaway, and leave a comment letting me know.
- and you can post on your blog, for an extra 3 chances - just leave me a comment to let me know :)

Do 1 or all 4! it's up to you, I will select a winner (via RNG) on Monday, December 21.

Many blessings to you~
Amy

Mmmm, I like the fat quarter giveaway fabrics, but also think her Meadowsweet Peach is pretty. And the Animal Party fabric would be fun to do in a little boys quilt :-)

  60. 400 blogs now that is dedication. I have enjoyed readying your blog for about 6 months now. You are ambitious. Today I am off to my one and only Christmas get together for the staff I work with, a breakfast before we have to clean up the preschool. It will be nice to see them all again. I am also looking forward to having no kids activities for 2 weeks, think I will hibernate! Have a good one!

  61. Congratulations on post 400! We are sure glad you have made it this far, and hope to see you for years to come.

Something interesting ... I am in the middle of a move 3 states away. My husband has been in NC for 6 weeks and will be back here in FL for a few days next week to celebrate Christmas, pack the truck with what remains, and take me with him to NC.

Christmas this year is bare bones. No trappings and fluff. All about family and being together and the reason for our celebration.

    Let the party begin!

Yesterday I started wrapping. Pulling everything out, and trying to figure out where I'm at, and what I'm missing. Good ole memory isn't what it used to be and I came up REALLY short for one of my children. Woops! So I need to go shopping today just for her, and then finish all the wrapping.
Here's a little secret... we wrap Santa gifts in his own special wrapping paper (and after 18 years and 6 rolls we are now OUT! Ack!! Gotta try to find something similar!) Cuz kids notice those things! LOL!!

  126. I can't even imagine 400, that's amazing!

I am a wrapping procrastinator, it's my least fav thing to do so I have ALL my presents left to wrap.

  135. Congrats on #400. I'm about to eat some salad for lunch and try and write a paper...or a few pages of the paper. It's that end-of-semester rush time which means no sewing until the work is done.

  136. congratulations on your 400th post and thank you for your hard work of organising the online quilt festivals, which I love!

today I was very angry at my sewing machine until the mechanic came to fix it for the second time in 3 days, and he showed me how to lower the lower feed dogs, a feature I had no idea that my machine can do - so since then I can only be angry at myself for having suffered for days with no success at stippling... :-)
otherwise I spent the day working, so that from next week I can concentrate on Christmas preparations only. I had a bowl of Scottish "soup of the day" out of the freezer, went to see my daughter in kindergarten at their Christmas celebration where she would not participate and kept crying, and now I'll have a cup of tea to calm myself :-)

  144. Since I'm on a roll with your giveaways....I'm diving in to this one too!
While the hushabye line would be great for baby blankets, I'm smitten with that Michael Miller "owl" fabric. Way too cute!!
I am waiting to wrap my Christmas gifts until the girls go to my parents house for three days. Just seems easier but it is stressing me out a bit that they are hiding under a blanket in the garage. I have clever girls and I just KNOW they could find them if they wanted to....

  160. I'm busy finishing off making my christmas presents and binding quilts to give to my children. You can never have too many quilts my children tell me. I don't wrap presents, we made Christmas bags and each person in our extended family has one. Then anyone who wants to can pop a present in someone's bag (they are not too big) and not have to worry about if it's too big or too little, it's just part of the bag of little things. It's so much fun and makes Christmas so easy for all of us. Plus it's heaps of fun to get your bag on Christmas day and look at all the little surprises in there.

  161. This weekend I have to wrap everything! My closet is full of unwrapped gifts and stocking stuffers. My golden retriever has already liberated some chocolates for me--guess I need to do some re-shopping.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I still have everything to wrap. I'm not worried though, I have 8 days, I may just wrap most on Christmas eve, it's kind of fun that way.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I haven't wrapped a thing! I use to let my youngest daughter do all the wrapping...she's at college this year, so either I wait, or rush to do it myself! company coming sat (4 grandsons all under 5) and parents. Have a cookie decorating day planned next week!

  166. Happy 400! That's amazing. I am working on my baby's stocking, and my Christmas quilt, and jammies for the kids for Christmas eve. I'm thinking about a fabric purchase... it's something discontinued that I've wanted for a while and I found a good deal.... just have to decide for sure if I want it!

  168. Congratulations Amy! 400 posts :)!! AMAZING...

I have got a bunch of presents to wrap. I can't stick them under the tree because of little fingers, so am waiting until Christmas Eve to wrap so they don't get crinkled...

I've got one last table runner to bind, and last night I started making a bunch of crayon rolls for the boys little friends at daycare. I've also got to make a library tote for my nephew and a wee gift for their daycare teacher!

Love your blog. Thanks for your continued inspiration! Will you do another recipe swap soon?

    xxx

  169. Happy 400th! You don't look a day over 399!

I finished my wrapping today while listening to the Sounds of the Seasons station on TV. Ruth Ann Olsen was right -- Christmas will be coming even if I don't make the bed every day!
