Weekend Spotlight

Hi there!
For this weekend, I thought we would stay here . . . it's my 500th post, and I'm giving away a Blush Layer Cake to celebrate!!

My Thursday was spent with these little guys :

Ella, Emmalie, Sophia, and Owen's kitty's - notice Owen trying to get his back?

At breakfast I asked Ella if I could make her a kitty.  I told her I knew it wasn't the same as a real kitty, but would it help?  Her face lit up a little, and she agreed.  That led to all four of the kids picking fabrics for their own kitty, and just before bedtime, I finished closing up the seams.  They all helped to stuff them too.


They are the free Amy Butler pattern and cute and relatively easy.  The only changes we made: they have a smile, and eyelashes.  I think they look less alien like :)
